Watet getting into the cars parked on the side of the road now.  Emergency management truck is down here now.

The NYHOPS surge model did a great job. The expected low end major coastal flooding for Freeport verified.

We are stuck in Manasquan waiting for the tidal flooding to recede.  More than 2 dozen vehicles damaged or ruined, more than a dozen high water rescues.  Over on the point side the ocean breached and came into the street.

Nope not at all. There's no stopping storm surge IMO.

Water finally starting to go down. Can't believe how many people drive through this. Saw an SUV get it's engine flooded and stall.

Plus it's salt water does wonders for the under body.
