eekuasepinniW
I've washed my car exactly once in my life and that was in 1998. It was a plymouth colt vista wagon... easily the greatest car of all time.

Today involved headlamp replacement, then McGuyvering a way to re-attach a plastic shroud that came loose beneath the engine and was dragging. now it makes a funny noise... When i had my first car.... a metal coat hanger was my solution to everything lose under my car lol. One of those bad boys even held my exhaust up for the longest time. I knew it had rusted through when I heard a thud and dragging on the road. My car has a lose heat shield right now and every year or so I just connect a couple of hose clamps and the rattling stops. Next time the hose clamps rust through... I'm just tearing it off
Ginx snewx
Don't know what NH puts on the roads but after my morning snowy drive Friday on 302 and 16 my truck looked like it went through a salt mine. I washed it Saturday twice to get it all off. I couldn't believe how much salt came off, probably the reason so many crows were next to my driveway Sunday. There is debate as to whether they serve a useful, purpose. I almost ripped it off, but I figured engineers wanted it there, so maybe it helps the car last a few more years. I think the paint job will outlive the vehicle. Once in a blue moon I go through an automatic wash and that has the wax sequence anyways. I'd rather spend my free time doing something other than waxing my truck.

It's funny because I'm whatever the opposite of a hoarder is called. My house legitimately looks like it's been staged for a real estate photo shoot. It's mostly since cleaning is how I make a living. Every time I think about buying some random knickknack, my first thought is "Do I really feel like cleaning/dusting this 6 times a year?" Ill take more snow but the nuisance variety just delays the drying of courses and gets in my way to stardom. 11.5 currently. I have a few vulnerable scores I can kick out early in the season and my two rounds in the 70s came late, so if I come out firing I might be able to sneak into the single digits. I just want to do it so I can say I was a single digit handicapper once. Before buying a house and having kids turns me into an adult.

I collect things that are useful in life or that are fun and interesting. Constant organizing and cleaning isn't our thing but I fully respect people who need that to keep sanity in their lives. Our household is generally clean but certainly not always neat.

weathafella
This has been meaty snow. I still have full cover but probably largely gone by tonight. But full cover after this run of warmth so far speaks to the meat in the pack from that 10 day run.

Pretty amazing durability to this snowpack in many areas especially low lying north sides, which have a lot of snow. Some houses in my hood still have snow on the roofs, South sides and elevations are torched but its a different look in many areas.

Ginx snewx
We remember this date very well, incredible night/day of tracking, up all night with our dearly departed friend Messenger and with Eck and Phil as we tracked this basically a tropical storm landfalls. The tide at Boston blew back in that night, we watched it real time. One of the most impressive storms in winter even though the snow we received was primarily back side uLL snow. https://www.weather.gov/media/erh/ta2013-03.pdf

Amazing stuff right there. Loved this frame of the buried house. Does the snow stick around for a long time at that depth, or do they get highs above freezing regularly and does it get depleted rather quickly? What is the height above sea level? 9,000'?
