The elevated stuff near Glen Cove in the cool sector looks better than some of the storms back in the warm sector closer to the slightly weaker midlevel lapse rates. I hit 80.0F, but only for about 10 seconds. Quickly dropped back into the low 70s by 3pm, then 60s, and now at 55.2F. Only 0.11" of rain from dying T-storms. It's the first time the monthly departure in NYC at +0.9 is running below +1.0 since the -0.2 for June 2015. The warmth likes to push just up to NYC/LI doorstep warm sectoring your area while we stay cooler. Such is springtime on your side of the NY Bight.
