Just saying we felt it briefly. Thought it was an explosion, so did some neighbors and others in town.

Actually happened in Bloomingdale.

The whole town felt and heard it . Don't know why that clown thinks we are lying . I was shocked an earthquake makes that much noise

Don't care what it says , police were flooded with calls ect . They say it was really shallow so maybe that's why we felt it so much . I'd describe it as something really heavy falling and a very loud explosion type of sound

Yeah, Lonnie Quinn explained that it was very shallow, and that's why we felt it so strong.

Hoping for a quick warm up ala a few years back when we were in the 70s by mid March

That's just sick.

I believe you're referring to March 2012. We had several days in the 70's that March but nothing like what happened in the midwest.

Chicago had 8 days in a 9 day stretch, of over 80 degrees that March, the other day it hit 78, Their March ended up 15.6 degrees above normal, similar to the December we just endured. Their March actually ended up warmer by 1-2 degrees than their April.

March's warmest days in NYC...

86 3/29/1945

86 3/31/1998

85 3/13/1990

84 3/21/1921

84 3/28/1945

83 3/20/1945

82 3/16/1990

82 3/28/1921

82 3/30/1998

82 3/29/1985

That list above that Uncle posted for NYC magnifies just how incredible that March 2012 stretch was in Chicago when they had 8 days over 80 degrees in a 9 day period, the other day hitting 78. Their trees started blooming during the month 6 weeks early.

Well Bloomingdale is basically my back yard and i see they even lowered and still it was felt

And the depth is deeper. This makes even less sense now. Now I'm not even sure it was an earthquake lol. I honestly don't know. I'll await some facts that probably won't come out until tomorrow.
