2 days , upper 80s then the 4th weekend looks good, lR depends on the noreaster

The heat looks a little more impressive than previous runs and the cool down is a little more meh. It's warmer than U80s over the interior lower els. You may get some south coast A/C though. We'll see what the ens say.

July being July.  Maybe it will bring Kevin out of his exile, giving him something to do while pulling damp charmin off his behind.

Funny not to have a 90 day and be AN like that. Certainly doesn't feel like it.

Statistically insignificant deviation though. +1 to -1 is within that normal range. Probably about as normal a month as you will see, dry on the edges in spots, typical hit or miss convective rains. the best part is the mugginess was absent. Going into the hottest part of the year now, great beach times enroute with maybe some swells from the coastal. Good times.

We've had a number of ridiculously humid days down here, but even with that it has been a very nice June. Only two days 95+ at DCA.

Even Tolland.

Every day in 2011 that was not above 90 at BWI seemed to be 'cool'.  106 with humidity on 7/22/11 will be something I never forget. Fond memories of dripping sweat walking to a morning lift at 4:30am, when it was 82 degrees!

Tolland definitely averages more cottonelle days than BOS. Cool ocean due to cold winter, and some good seabreeze days too this summer.

Can you trout fish in that ...?

Some people fly fish in it, but honestly I've never seen anything worth catching in it. It's a fast response river with widely variable water levels. Like the rain the other day had it up over all those rocks and then a day or two later it's low flow again. It drains all of Mt Mansfield's east slope.

By the way, as far as the eye can see Kevin was 100% correct when, back in May, he called the end of cold, shty weather until fall. That was when he decided (realized) that there was a group-think vendetta against him on this board.

And who calls the New England severe season in June? Sorry Windcredible, but wtf...

Yeah it's all relative to climo though as far as shytty weather... I have nothing against Blizz but when he makes such absolute/definitive statements with no wiggle room, of course folks may have a different opinion.

June 5th looked like a winner...high of 62F at ORH with 0.35" rain, and high of 60F at BOS with 0.75" rain.

June 12-13 had highs of 63F and 61F respectably at ORH, both with rain. Similar at BOS.

Yes days of highs in the 30s and 40s had to end sometime, but there have been periods of suck here and there. For the most part it's been nice though.

Max temps have been fairly meh to this point. Most stations have struggled to, or haven't hit, 90F yet. My max so far is 84.5F...whoopdeedoo.

There's been many low dew days which has made for many beautiful, dry, high diurnal range days. There haven't been many dead ratter stretches, but nothing excessively hot either. This is probably about as close to "normal" as you can get over a sustained 2 month period.

lol end of May, that's a joke, 95% certainty of it not being cold although multiple 40s is certainly chilly as reported where people live.
