Sorry about the bad measurements. :( Final Measurements: ~12.7".

You're like Snowlover11's cousin with that ruler.

You guys making Westchester look bad.

In all seriousness, Dobbs Ferry got 12" tonight, and my old hometown now has 38" on the season. That's already just above the long term average. The downtown coop has averaged 36" since its inception in 1947. I had 52" last year and 70" in both 09-10 and 10-11. It's been quite a run.

Sorry about the bad measurements. I guess I should learn how to become a Trained Spotter.

It's really hard to measure a storm like this. I remember how hard Boxing Day was to measure.

You should appreciate how much snow Westchester has been getting. I grew up in Dobbs Ferry through the horrid winters of 97-98, 98-99, 99-00, and 01-02. We didn't get more than 25" in any of them and had 7" in 01-02. I gave up my shortcut to school, through the golf course, when the snow finally got too deep in 02-03.

Winters have been magical since the 60" in 02-03. Had 50" with cold January in both 03-04 and 04-05...the 20" in 2/06. 70" in 09-10 and 10-11 with 26" on 2/25/10 and a 30" snowpack in 1/11...17" blizzard last year with over 50"...closing in on 40" this year with three big storms.

We only average 30-35" of snow. We have been exceedingly lucky. Don't forget that.
