Yeah I agree for spots further inland. But not for rt 128. Framingham is well past 128

I guess you need to get more updated on your climo in the pike region-northward...here is a mesonet site in Wellseley which is about 2 miles west of 128:

Like I said, the line was right near 128...maybe it was a mile or 2 west of it, but it was quite noticeable.

Here's one almost to 128 in Weston, you can see the temp rise is a bit sooner, about 90 minutes sooner. But still a lot later than BOS region.

Wow--winds just picked up gusting to 18 on my station.  Heavy burst of rain with the winds.

I was about to say 'torch cancel, uncancel' because the temp cimbed back up to 47.1.  Quickly reversed direction again and is back down to 46.1.  Torch recancel.

Rapid drop.

4 minutes after the above, lost another 2.3,

43.7/38

Interesting. Maybe they hold onto some cover. I'm not sure what the critical mass for duration of the torch is though

A lot depends on the L.E. of the snowpack and the dewpoints (which in this torch are high, so the snow melts fast). That area did have some partial snow cover still leftover from pre-Xmas.

My guess is they will hold onto majority cover but probably a few bare spots. The front is into W MA now, so the clock is ticking on the high dews...even when the temp gets down to like 40/24, the melting gets very slow due to the dewpoint drop.
