I'd kill for 59 right now. Miserable here with no chance at storms. Good luck and stay safe to those up north.

Yeah, even though the potential was there for more, it's hard to be disappointed with upper 50s/low 60s and thunderstorms when you are looking at the 80s hot and humid weather LAF and DVN are enduring atm.

Line headed for the SE WI lakeshore counties just intensified on the last scan or two.  Didn't expect that, thought it would continue to crumble or sink more southward.

Looks like I will catch the southern end of it. Starting to thunder pretty good again. Only 59 outside.

All of that convection seems like a hot mess to me.

Good luck trying to figure out which area of convection will try to organize into a bow echo.

I want to place my money on the line headed into Milwaukee, yet my fear is the supercells to the south will cut off the inflow into it.

Ya, I'm a bit surprised at how long the supercellular characteristics have lasted when earlier thinking was that the line might form over the chicagoland region, then strengthen and move east.   Up to 600 m2/s2 0-3 km helicity in southern WI though and the southwest edge of that definitely affected the Mt. Carroll IL area storm.   Svr warning for the southern half of Elkhart Co. south of me now and just heard my first rumble of thunder.
