wxmanmitch Posted February 29, 2012 Share Posted February 29, 2012 NAM gets the sleet/snow line right to my location tomorrow night by 03Z and then halts overhead before collapsing southward after 06Z. I think there's a good (>60%) chance I'll see some pingers from this. I wonder if this means sleet in the front yard (faces south) and snow in the back yard (faces north). I think it's fairly short lived here if the NAM is correct, so it shouldn't dampen my totals too much. However, the thermal gradient in the mid-levels is very sharp around here so there could be a sizable difference between say Great Barrington and North Adams.
