If only we could get some precip in here soon it would hold our temps way down for a while and maybe get a nice front end surprise but that is just the weenie in me hoping for a miracle. EmersonGA Posted January 25, 2011 Share Posted January 25, 2011 I just got back from downtown Atlanta. It was 38 and snowing like crazy ...at 10,000 feet. There was also this strange pocket of snow over the house of a former poster. His temperature was 6 degrees colder than everyone else which allowed for snow. Lookout Posted January 25, 2011 Share Posted January 25, 2011 I had a period of rain/sleet an hour or so ago. It came down quite hard actually...could have even been a flake in there too..the sleet was big though, now it's been all rain mostly since. The temp briefly dropped to 32.2 at the heaviest (it was 34/26 when it started). I have the all so popular and wonderful 33 and rain currently.
