  1. Past hour
  2. 89 was kinda wild. Epic severe, Hugo, Thanksgiving 89 snow, then Dec. 89 frigid. I remember traveling to Cape Cod to do cleaning, it was insanely cold even there and the ocean looked more like Alaska with all of the sea ice.
  3. I am seeing forecast soundings of STP (effective) of 14.7 to 15.7 on the most recent HRRR valid for 03z (same as shown). I think that's maybe about 1 or 2 more than I've ever seen on a model sounding.
  4. Kid was wearing a fucking tuxedo. Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
  5. For some reason, my cell phone (Samsung) doesn't like the /BB structure of the forum and while I can browse, I cannot post, hence the need for Crapatalk. Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
  6. The cells seem a touch close together, will that correct as they move into a more favorable environment?
  7. lol...no pic. I bet he took serious online shit and took it down.
  8. 17 severe warnings and our first tornado warning now
  9. Old Woodsman works, though it also can keep one lonely due to its aroma. When the black flies are having a monster season, nothing works for long. In 1996 at Deboullie (25 miles SW from Fort Kent), Ben's 100 lasted less than an hour and I quit applying after the 2nd coating - slathering 100% DEET every hour might be a health issue. Even on Deboullie Pond 500 feet from shore I was getting hammered; maybe not enough airspace over the land? Usually, black flies turn the bloodsucking over to deer flies when the temp gets past the middle 80s, but that year the little beasts kept biting in 90+ sunshine. And of course, nothing works for deer flies, though I've heard that flaming kerosene helps, also remaining under water.
  10. Some beefy mesocyclones evident on radar. Going to be a long night
  11. This gives new meaning to a backloaded El Niño winter.
  12. I’d be clenching my cheeks if I lived in great bend. That storm by larned might be the first to go tornadic in KS
  13. TDAY is down until further notice. Anyone chasing in that area will be critical to the early warning process as the lowest WSD88 beam is 5-7k ft in parts of Ohio.
  14. Drilled on an upward angle. The idea is once the bee gets in, it only sees light at the bottom and goes there thinking its the way out.
  15. SPC forecasted initiation around 22z. Now starting to see discreet cells pop up in Western OK
  16. Speaking of OK things are starting to pop now
  17. It's not even a delay in initiation either (storms are developing right now, if anything a bit ahead of schedule).
  18. Please stop. Your posts aren't helpful and on a day like today your trolling isn't needed. The SPC has already mentioned several times that a delay in initiation doesn't mean bust. Please read forecasts before commenting.
  19. Dews up today. Feels great. A few drops down the crack.
  20. Today
  21. Remember when amwx had mods? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
