  1. Past hour
  2. It seems like it's been forever since the arctic has had below normal heights in October. It seems like every year as we go from September to October, the high latitudes turn into a red paint bomb with both heights and 850 temps.
  3. Now hang on...I was told in another thread that 72-73 didn't technically classify as a super. But was it?
  4. Octorcher 1st and still growing ! Can we get into December?!
  5. What a bust of a week-forecasts were mostly sunny Tue-Fri--I've seen about 4 hrs of sun
  6. almost identical to my house. 5.6" rain, 61.6 avg temp, which is a couple degrees below the normal (avg 63.5ish)
  7. Why is it so darned cloudy out?
  8. Today
  9. My 5 model blend for Augusta rainfall from midnight Friday thru 10 pm Sunday is .91"...... This compares to .24" at 8 am Wednesday. The AI models are similar to the physics models at 2 pm. The WPC is in line with the 5 model blend.
  10. I was really thinking we were in for a cold and snowy winter looking at all of the analogs for east based super el ninos. This helped reign in my expectations. thank you

  12. I'm in the camp of Vikings win, but Miami covers the current +12/12.5 number. If Jefferson plays, maybe they have a shot to cover, but without him, Miami could sneaky cover that one. Weirder stuff has happened and the NFL is tough to cover 12+ in game. However, I will say teams that are specifically +13.5 tend to cover more than teams between +10.5 to +13 historically. Don't know why, but definitely a weird trend for betting.
  13. Pool is getting closed next week so figured I'd just let the temp drop, but just turned the heater on. I can probably get the water to 80 tomorrow and take one last dip.
  14. It’s a warm one. Sitting at 87 right now.
  15. Oh my...our first "DIGITAL BLUE" of the season (even if it's flip-flops)!!!
  16. These maps tend to skew dry due to missing data at some stations, but you can see how the last couple of months have been much wetter to the south and east of Denver metro. Northern Front Range has definitely been the screw zone.
  17. i already had my heater on a few times last week during the raw cool weather because of the storm..
  18. felt very muggy out their today i am so done with summer weather..
  19. Was going to come here to complain about how I haven’t seen sunny skies in over a week but it looks like you all already took care of that for me.
  20. Looking forward to tomorrow. I can probably get one last swim day in if I put my heater on
  21. It is pathetic that the flip flopping EUROs are the best models we have in 2026.
  22. Where’s the sun? None here. Beer?
  23. we need our kids to play softball and baseball for once. The 12z Euro dramatically reduced the Saturday precip. If you translate it to winter...we went from a foot to 1/2 inch of snow. This is between the 6z and 12z run. Its also less impressed on Sunday
