  2. Wantage NJ had 0.1" overnight. NYC CP XMACIS first last date of measurable. Median for the period off record dating back to 1869 is Dec 8. see below. CP did it a couple days early! Good call Don via stats a. few days ago.
  3. Got up at 5 and just missed getting to see snow falling, but enjoying the coating I got. Latest HRRR says maaaybe Ill get some mood flakes in a bit if that stuff currently around west chester can make it north enough as it goes. Here’s hoping we can get some good trends or an overperformer from at least 1 of the 2 disturbances mid week and next weekend. Now for a day of housework, outdoor xmas lights, and conference championships. Cheers
  4. When we’re getting our rocks off on 15 minute bursts of snows.. we know it’s as bad as it gets
  5. I didn’t think it was still supposed to be snowing.
  6. Marquette is the big snowfall winner with this overpowering Pacific Jet.
  7. Surprised to wake up to a car topper here in silver spring inside the beltway. Roads are clear because MoCo salted them
  8. Most overnight and morning guidance still has light accumulations for Monday outside of the mountains
  9. 7:10 am.. 31.0 F 93%hum 29.82 bar Nearly calm winds from south Actually snow total... .75 of an inch is what I reported to NWS for skywarn... Not much lol but not bad for a first snow on Dec 5-6th ! And I'm actually still getting very light snow falling... I thought it woulda ended over night lol
  10. Nice coating we take too bad that band couldn’t thicken up or slow down
  11. While it certainly hasn't been wet, the soil moisture is good down to 20" or more. The rain I did get came at the right time and did a really good job of working it's way down. Now the trick is going to be ramping up the rain amounts before it dries out again. Nice morning out there, 27/26 with no wind and a fresh couple of tenths coating whitening things up.
  12. It flaked here most of the afternoon yesterday and picked up right around sunset. Everything is nicely coated now and it seems to have stopped. 27/26/0 I need to drive out to Monticello this morning, what's 17 looking like?
  13. Heavy now. Ground is whitening up. I take that as a win!

  15. The 00z models were north, but the overnight and morning trend has been back south.
  16. You can feel the angst growing after each set of model runs....hard to deny the stretch of years filled with warmish/wet to cold/dry. You would have to think one of these cold patterns would yield some luck. Nice 15 minute burst of snow this morning though....
  17. Looks like I picked up more overnight and this morning. Half inch on the snow board (never cleared it yesterday)
