  1. Past hour
  2. The Euro AIFS ensemble's control was a real weenie run at 6z: That said, I'm not sure how the AIFS ensemble is doing. I've seen people say it counts sleet as snow, and it overdoes the sorts of maps above.
  3. Could be a SE MA special. The trend since last night has been to reduce the vort curl. That will limit how far west the good stuff makes it.
  4. Snowing here. Starting to stick but im still at 33 degrees.
  5. It appears per radar that Augusta might be about to get hit hard with something! Meanwhile: 2” reported at Byron, GA!0830 AM SNOW 2 N POWERVILLE 32.63N 83.79W 01/18/2026 E2.0 INCH PEACH GA PUBLIC AN ESTIMATED 2 INCHES OF SNOW FELL AT HAYES CT IN BYRON.
  6. Have pancakes flying now with SN & fog, and am up to an inch with this round 2 (2.5" for the 2-day total so far). Temp still holding at 32 with dp 32.
  7. FL Panhandle is really going to have more snow on the ground than my backyard
  8. Snow potential will be this afternoon and evening for the lowlands with the precip on the back side of the coastal low as temps cool. Question is how far west the precip will get- looks like by the time its cold enough it might be on the light side/moving out. Best shot at an inch or 2 at that point will probably be east/southeast of my yard where models indicate a better chance of getting in on some heavier precip as the coastal low passes/pulls out.
  9. Any plans to move this week?.
  10. Another 3” here in Willow Street. Now it’s winter! .
  11. about 1/4" of light snow, but watching this batch that is slowly shifting SE towards NW CT
  12. Lovely little brief band. Big cat paws had the kids tongues out.
  13. You can already see the models trying to find a way to screw the foothills. I give up.
  14. That's the 6z. The 12z cut back big time outside of SEMA.
  15. For sure. He seriously needs to pull back/take a break. He’s a mess. Been snowing here since about 7:00 or so. Steady and beautiful. I mean he’s worse than T Blizz now, at least Brett is happy about the storm, as you should be if you love winter weather.
  16. Well, the last 3-4 pages were an "interesting" read!! I swear some people in this place. Thanks to those who kept it grounded and real, no reason to abandon everything due to different deterministic solutions a week or more out. To lighten the mood and give some hope, today is apparently "World Snow Day"!!! Gotta be worth something!!
  17. If I'm doing my math right.......here's the qpf it's showing from 10:00am onward.
  18. Light snow has commenced in Greenfield. 28° Radar to my West looks decent for this morning round. I’m not really expecting a lot from the system out here, but everything is gravy after yesterday.
