The Euro AIFS ensemble's control was a real weenie run at 6z: That said, I'm not sure how the AIFS ensemble is doing. I've seen people say it counts sleet as snow, and it overdoes the sorts of maps above.

Could be a SE MA special. The trend since last night has been to reduce the vort curl. That will limit how far west the good stuff makes it.

Have pancakes flying now with SN & fog, and am up to an inch with this round 2 (2.5" for the 2-day total so far). Temp still holding at 32 with dp 32.

FL Panhandle is really going to have more snow on the ground than my backyard

Snow potential will be this afternoon and evening for the lowlands with the precip on the back side of the coastal low as temps cool. Question is how far west the precip will get- looks like by the time its cold enough it might be on the light side/moving out. Best shot at an inch or 2 at that point will probably be east/southeast of my yard where models indicate a better chance of getting in on some heavier precip as the coastal low passes/pulls out.

Only thing you should be using now is HRRR , RAP, RRFS

Well, the last 3-4 pages were an "interesting" read!! I swear some people in this place. Thanks to those who kept it grounded and real, no reason to abandon everything due to different deterministic solutions a week or more out.
