  1. Past hour
  2. Been a rough month here, broke the record for the driest Sept, notta thing here, tied the record daily highs with 2019...93.2F Made a run at overall temp record,1925 avg, was 81.5,this Sept was 81.1
  3. Definitely a muggy feel now
  4. Total rain at my house 1.26" for September. Interesting that Centennial Airport just 3-4 miles south got 3.23". Also DEN was 4th warmest all time for the month. Looks like the transition zone from lighter to heavier rain the last 2 days (using an inch, more or less, as the dividing line) was way down in Pueblo and Huerfano Counties.
  5. Rachel well on its way to becoming *yet another* high end Major hurricane in this ludicrous EPAC season
  6. The models are waffling on rain amounts, with some at less than .5 to others at 2+ inches over the weekend. I always like getting a nice soaker in October to lower fire danger. There are almost always fires here in October, but if we get a good soaker they tend to just burn the surface leaf litter and don't get deep into the soil to root burning level.
  7. 76 / 67 and climbing now with partly sunny conditions here
  8. My September data. Last September was 67.3 and 3.26" September 1, 2026 - September 30, 2026 High Low Average Temperature 86.3 °F 50.7 °F 67.1 °F Dew Point 74.0 °F 39.0 °F 59.7 °F Humidity 97 % 39 % 79 % Precipitation 9.05 in -- --
  9. So what's the intrigue over this event? We got all the maps like it's snow, lol
  10. Today
  11. I'm late in responding but thanks for this and provides some hope. I was disappointed though yesterday to see the extended outlook (7-10 days) calls for significant warming and lack of storms. This is not the way we want to start October! As we've seen time and time again this year, these high pressure systems tend to hang around too long - hope this one doesn't .
  12. 5.5" of rain in Sept. and monthly mean temp of 61.3F, which is basically normal.

  14. Thanks for sharing this - impressive! It's nice to see this type of record being broken in this region for a change, rather than heat and dryness....
  15. The big Wednesday night rain event trended well nw, so much of my area didn't get much... only a few tenths here. More light showers are popping now, so my 2+day total may end up close to 2".

  18. You know we’ve turned the corner into predominate fall weather when it still gets down into the 50s as lows despite being in a warm pattern.
  19. 70/59… feels warm out there. Saw some sun this morning but now clouded over again. Foliage on fire.
