  1. Past hour
  2. Looks like the storm that went though here are gonna be just north of home back in Calvert. Ain't no surprise. Up here we had very heavy wind, I can believe the 65mph gust. We did luck into some heavy rain for about 20mins. I need to get a weather station for up here so I can measure this stuff.
  3. Hopefully big hail is denting the cars on blocks in the Berks. MRG’s pony-o scalped right off.
  4. Gonna get something. Sky is getting dark quickly and wind picking up
  5. Somewhere in MD. Doesn’t affect us.
  6. Also seems the storms are moving through sooner than expected. Yesterday this was looking like a post-10:00pm threat.
  7. Allentown gusted to 50 mph with this line moving through, Mount Pocono 54 mph, Lancaster 47 mph, Reading 44 mph
  8. Watch Dendy to NC Mass get ripped and then WCT down to NYC. There was hints of that happening last night runs but they did away with it this morning
  9. Just passed through here. Some wind and rain but nothing too out of the ordinary with some rumbles of thunder.
  10. There’s a liquid of some sort coming out of the sky in heavy quantities. I haven’t seen it in a long time. I think it’s called rain. .
  11. How bad is that line? Going to be hit with it soon it appears. Severe thunderstorm warning.
  12. That line of storms looks good. We'll have to see how much it weakens as it moves into our area, but I'm pumped up! Finally it appears that we're going to see some heavy rain.
  13. I’d just take some rain to turn off the yellow filter.
  14. Are those going to make it? Seems a little early. Going to arrive before the STW starts if they don’t fall apart. But like @high risk said, I don’t get why storms would fall apart before sunset on a hot summer day.
  15. Normally I'd agree with that sentiment, but we have numerous outdoor events ongoing this weekend and we're grateful for the larger polygons. It's helping our lead time and our consequence management.
  16. That large of an area to the E of a lead warning? The eastern edge of the warning, it is going to be almost an hour before anything occurs When ppl get a svr tstm warning, and say, 30 min goes by, and nothing has happened yet, that I would argue promotes apathy, and ppl will start to stand down/go back to what they are doing. Many ppl are only willing to take so much time out of the day for short-fused, convective-related warnings like this. A longer lead time is not always better. There comes a point of diminishing returns.
