Augdewst 2026: Summer's Last Stand
Prismshine Productions replied to Prismshine Productions's topic in New England
88/70/75 with 56% humidity. Gross. Sent from my SM-S176V using Tapatalk -
75-80 def looks likely here. Euro shows 79-80 here Monday as well. Wouldn't be surprised to see low 80s in heavily corny areas.

Glad we don't live there.

Augdewst 2026: Summer's Last Stand

I am hoping we can pump 80's and dewpoints into the 70's into November. Can sit outside and watch football and hockey...that would be epic. -

Augdewst 2026: Summer's Last Stand
dendrite replied to Prismshine Productions's topic in New England
ha Kidding aside, it hasn't been that bad here outside of July. But with all of my plants I start worrying about surface moisture after about a week of nada and not much on the horizon. Pawpaws like water and a lot of it. -
Is there some type of boundary? Seems to be firing in a line from SW to NE

Happy birthday! Getting old is great isn't it!? -
I don't really care about being in the first color on the chart, that isn't anything. Our reservoirs are actually above average for this time of the year as well, so I think we are ok. Current: 92.6 Normal: 89.4

I'm looking at it from SE of it. It's dramatic looking now. Hopefully some more action fires off in this humidity.

Occasional Thoughts on Climate Change
LibertyBell replied to donsutherland1's topic in Climate Change
It is refreshing right at the beach but from my experience being above 1500 ft makes me feel even cooler and at night the temperature is much cooler and you dont feel the humidity up here probably because the air is thinner? It would be an absolute disaster, you stay safe too even a run of the mill flash flooding event can cause a ton of danage: basement flooding, subway flooding, roof collapses, etc. -
I’ve got an impressive Cu outside my office window eta…and it’s got a tiny radar return

I see towers to my north and northwest. Was thinking the same thing on timing.

2026-2027 Record-breaking El Nino
LakePaste25 replied to Stormchaserchuck1's topic in Weather Forecasting and Discussion
Is there anything at this point between now and October that could stop this from becoming the Wilma of El Nino events? Seems like it’s becoming so well coupled in the tropics that that there really isn’t. -
