  1. Past hour
  2. Just woke up. Woke up at 4 and it was light snow. Roads were white but very little in yard. Woke up 15 minutes ago and all is white. I'd say a solid 1 1/2", possibly 2". Measured right at 2" on the Jeep hood. I was surprised I could pack a snowball. I expected it to be all powder. Either way, I feel good about it. It's peanuts compared to most people, but we are Chattanooga area, so I'd consider anything a win. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk
  3. After a lull, light snow again in Belmont. Radar is looking good.
  4. It’s going to be very hard to get a measurement for this snow. I think I’m at around 1.5” but in some places it’s double that and others are nearly swept bare by the wind. Almost nothing on roofs. 18 degrees.
  5. I know Haystack road well. This Bannertown boy used to date a girl out that way when I was in high school.
  6. No you don’t. They might be in dry slot hell lol
  7. That's about as boring a two weeks as you will find at peak climo.
  8. Heavier, more substantial snow moving into Forsyth County and Winston-Salem
  9. Looking at the 120 hr 500 level maps. The GFS has a positive or somewhat flat trough, whereas the ICON shows a neutral trough. Will see what AI models show and of course future runs as there is few more days. This big system hitting our southern parts gets out of here.
  10. Coldest morning since I moved here. I tried throwing the cup of water in the air thing…yeah, not cold enough lol. But still neat to take that crunchy snow walk.
  11. I wish this band over us would keep cranking and start the pivot.
  12. Expected to wake up to some snow on the ground. We havent had a single flake.
  13. Pretty much. This absolutely sucks. Feels almost worse than December 2000

  15. a few flurries at my house 10 miles SE of Birmingham... but the wind is so blustery and the flakes so small they aren't even staying on car tops.
