  3. WB 12Z EURO....for the late Friday/ Saturday soaker
  4. June contest, with seasonal max added, begins now ... will add annual scoring update to this post, May scoring post already exists (for final edit June 1st) before snowfall contest posts above ...
  5. I actually don’t mind weekend rain. Keeps the population outside down when I’m out. I mean it’s not like I’m tied down indoors during the week save for Friday in the summer.
  6. up to 1.60 so far still raining even though Jays Wintry Mix said it would stop between 11-12 because he saw the back edge on radar
  7. Oh wow, good on him. I was just speaking to model-gazing, but that's why he's a pro. It does look like he's had to up his predicted amounts substantially. It looks like the record min max for MDT of 57 from 1996 has a chance to go down, although the station has spiked to 55 recently. I'll have to check the flight log.
  8. There is a pretty good signal on the EPS for a wet weekend after next.
  9. Yeah didn't like seeing that on the GGEM. GEFS still look OK though.
  10. 1.32” looks to be event total here
  11. Very light rain so far. Barely wetting the ground
  12. Just broke 2" for the event.
  13. I know, I always give an imaginary tip to the AI driver..
  14. I would have hoped that businesses would have learned during covid that you DON'T have to meet in person for a lot of things.
  15. we have self driving AI taxies now!
  16. It's just time to chop down all those trees.
  17. Is it very dry in Canada again this year? It's every year now with these Canadian wildfires, they need to consider just chopping down all those trees to put a permanent end to the fires.
  18. I would love to see some data on the amount of forest fires in the Canadian Tiaga forests historically. That area is basically uninhabitable so if fires are significantly increasing is size and frequency it’s a good climate change marker. I would think they have, so to the over the top patterns we have seen. And of course the smoke events here the last few years.
  19. https://i.makeagif.com/media/8-18-2016/WEdJuT.mp4 self driving AI works so well..lol
  20. The developing pall of smoke might help to mute temperatures somewhat as well. Will have to watch and see if it spreads any further east and south.
  21. Not the first time I have been called brilliant!! Thanks again Bdgwx!!
  22. Today
  23. Definitely something to keep an eye out for. Computer models are depicting widespread lofted smoke spreading in across the Midwest over the next 48 hours, with air quality concerns [near surface smoke] in northern parts of Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin. I wonder if this will mute the expected warmup somewhat.
  24. Not bad. Up to 1.60" over here on the other side of the bay. The heavy steady rain is over. Still a heavy drizzle and mist.
