  1. Past hour
  2. I love how you cherry pick "Philly to Boston". Why not the mid-Atlantic (Philly to DC)? Oh wait, a lot of places there had a higher snow average the last 2 years than in 16-17 to 22-23, so it won't fit your agenda?
  3. Just some light rain showers. Missing the meat of it again. 0.06”
  4. Had 0.92" yesterday afternoon, with about 0.6" in 45 minutes, 3:30-4:15. Biggest precip day since March. Light rain this morning, another 0.04", but after today it's dry, dry, dry.
  5. Over 2” at DCA, over 1” at BWI, and 0.03” at IAD. We really need a tropical or synoptic system to come in and douse us all (while dry-slotting @dailylurker’s yard).
  6. I did run the AC yesterday due to the dampness. Turned em off in the evening. wonder if that’s it for the season.
  7. I was hoping it would clear early but looks like on and off showers through noon. Sitting at 1.48" for the event so far.
  8. Jeez AACo jackpot for sure. I’ve just been scraping by with occasional brief showers. The gradient between 5-10 miles to my west and 5-10 miles to my east is probably over 1”. Think I’m around 0.3” for yesterday and overnight.
  9. Nice to wake up to a summer day of yore. Cloudy, cool, rains.
  10. Here in jackpotville it poured all night off and on. Looks like more coming this morning. Today's forecast doesn't look as nice as it did a couple days ago. I'm so ready for drought round two lol
  11. Possibly some more rain today in Buda. Rain to the west as I am coming back from delivering in San Marcos this morning prompted me to cover the car. They are expecting 2 to 4 additional inches probably in San Marcos south today. I am expecting a quarter to half inch and will be content, even with a sixteenth of an inch.
  12. Bummer to rain out a weekend day, but we desperately need the water down here. Plants already look so much better.
  13. Much needed steady rains continue. Could get up to an inch or more today
  14. This looks like a great day for someone to spend 7 hours uninstalling their air conditions for the season.
  15. The reason the Euro seasonal snowfall forecast worked out from Philly to Boston is that the storm track matched the seasonal forecast. So it didn’t really matter for the snowfall outcomes that the overall forecast for DJF was too warm. Since the colder conditions than forecast last winter all arrived behind the Great Lakes cutters after the warm storm tracks.
  16. Yup, i didn't want any rain in the first place. Hope this is the end of it.
  17. Today
  18. Picked up an additional 0.65" of light and steady rain since the thunderstorms yesterday. Sitting at 1.70" right now with a small amount left to go. Very beneficial rainfall, finally!
  19. Models have completely backed off on any Atlantic tropical threats for the next 2+ weeks. We are starting to approach the point where we are going to have to accept that this may end up being a below normal season (ACE/named storms) despite the La Niña
  20. The fact that the EURO is seeing it now speaks volumes. It’s finally showing a La Niña, the last to the party as always with its extreme ENSO warm bias
  21. Got zero. Zilch. Nada from that prefrontal line but YAY for this current round that has been doing a slow soak since just before midnight. The "heavier" (in quotes) rates have come after 3 am, going as high as about 0.50"/hr but averaging in the 0.10 -0.30" per hour range. Currently have light - moderate rain, with temp 61, dp 61, and 0.49" in the bucket.
  22. Rained all night and still raining but only added up to .15.
  23. kiko-chan has been a c4 three times she is so cute!
  24. Thought for sure it was coming down.. started right near my friend's house down the street.. it was rotating pretty good!
