  1. Past hour
  2. This is a fantastic read on CC if you live in the New England area. https://www.mdpi.com/2225-1154/13/12/246
  3. Looks like we’re gonna tap out at a coating here, which quite honestly is more than I expected given the dry air in place. Fairly productive week in the precip department.
  4. Enough for the granddaughters to make snow angels. That's all that really matters in the end. :) IMG_20251205_082523.heic
  5. heavy dusting in Owings mills. Everything is covered including streets
  6. 25.3, light snow, I would eyeball just over 1.0", seems this played out pretty much as expected
  7. Close to an inch here. Can we eek out just a bit more to make it official?
  8. Same in normal Bethesda, some fat flakes coming down. If only people knew how to drive in snow...
  9. I wish i had that. I have squat. I’m heading down to Pikesville soon, hopefully I’ll see a flurry
  10. 11/11 0.1 11/30 0.1 12/02 0.2 (sleet) 12.05 3.8 Total 4.2
  11. No worries. I would have chosen this over what I'm doing but it's something I already paid for lol. I know last year we briefly discussed an early spring one but never got to it. Maybe late January we can throw a thread up with some dates for March or April
  12. In our current "warming climate" 3 of the last 4 months have been below normal.....
  13. I ended up with only a light dusting, .2" to be exact. There continues to be off and on periods of very light snow, but it's not heavy enough to bring any additional accumulation. The current temperature is 31.1° woth a dew point of 30.9°.
  14. Think I’m around 3 inches at Cville which definitely makes this a good storm
  15. Eyeball estimates but 1-1.3 in Germantown, MD. We've gotten absolutely lucky with the banding today. Safe to say we've overperformed our forecasts
  16. Roads were very slick on MD 340 this am. Multiple accidents. Weather advisory should have been in effect.
  17. Sorry, it's so split this year on date preference....I know having things in flux this late in the game isn't ideal, but trying to maximize participation it tough when there is no clear preference. We are going to do the 13th....that is final, no more indecisiveness, so if anything changes, see you guys there.
  18. Snowy morning in the Twin Cities. Another 1-2” today, looks like a good hit coming between I-80 & I-90 tomorrow.
  19. Looks like we are going to hold off until the 13th, so hope to finally meet you!
  20. NWS Employee reports 1.1" SN Leesburg at 820am
  21. Over 2.0” down this way in Stafford. Still snowing, great scene outside. ETA: 2.3” is official measurement currently
  22. Euro won this one imo. Light snow 25 degrees.
  23. Yea it's uncanny how many times that MD 26 to I-70 zone is the cutoff for so many winter events.
