The '91 Halloween Blizzard is my favorite storm of all-time. It is legendary in Minnesota and there is no debate about its ranking. Also of note on that list, the 1982 storms (#3 and #4) are back-to-back just like our 2010, and 5 of the top 9 storms were in the 1982-1985 period. For this upcoming storm, I'd love to be just north of Green Bay. Looks like they'll get hit with both components of the storm.

80 Degrees to Ripping Snow: March 12th
EastCoast NPZ replied to SnowenOutThere's topic in Mid Atlantic
I was in Indiana all week. But I can report exactly nothing here in stephens city again. At least we picked up .36" rain on Thursday and got a decent storm and .24" rain Wednesday. Even in mid-march the eastern crew still gets snow while we cannot. -
As of yesterday, we now have a September sun angle. Climo is now fully in spring mode and length of day increases exponentially this month…..
-
Sunny here albeit windy.

Looks like we go from Stein to washouts in NNE Monday.

Phoenix Experiences Warmest February and Winter on Record
donsutherland1 replied to donsutherland1's topic in Climate Change
That would break the four-month record that was set during November-February 2025-2026 (2.4°), which is currently the largest such margin for any four-month period. For reference: -
