  1. Past hour
  2. Another clipper type system? Unless those get energized when they hit the coast, precip is going to be on the light side as they have no moisture to work with. From what I saw on the models southern jet is cut off from the northern one, so no sytems diving south to pick up GoM moisture, then coming up the coast for a wallop.
  3. Can't wait to hear we lost 20" at about 1130 tonight.
  4. Felt like living in lower Michigan today with mood flakes from sunup to sundown. Don't see that very often around here.
  5. I used to bartend there when I was in school, you have it at the Bullard Tavern?
  6. 2 of the top 3 in the first analog list…
  7. Compare the GFS run w/ Jan 96 at 500mb.. Happy Anniversary!
  8. Between 6" and 7" left in the pack on the flat part of the south lawn. Will try to get a SWE tomorrow at some point. Propane tank is thoroughly encased.
  9. Well we have certainly beaten this to death…
  10. If I smoked I would light one up after the GFS Happy Hour run.
  11. Man it's windy out here! In the last half hour it really picked up. Power flickered a couple of times.
  12. Thats why I qualified it with the words “right now.” You think I haven’t been at this shit with the rest of you for like 20 years? I know how to cover my ass…
  13. What’s so fantastic about it to see at this time of the year, that he was pointing out?
  14. Very striking similarities. I personally was praying for the nao ridge to split just enough to allow for a weakness in the flow for it to be drawn a bit more north. It happened. Crazy to look at the gfs op h5 and see essentially the same damn thing. This is going to be stressful tracking for many. Potential is there, keep expectations tempered for now.
  15. Picked the right dinner tonight. Listening to the wind throw twigs at the back of the house eating some Arabic meatball soup. Still dislike wind though.
