  1. Past hour
  2. I have my eyes on the Baja Blast upper low. Thats the thing I like for the 27-29 window. If that gets hung up out there im perfectly fine with several days of i.pumses rejecting east from that if the bowling ball doesnt hold together. Noted prior, biggest fail for that window attm is a slider or suppression. But we'll see. No ssense dissecting I to too mich detail on that at this point.
  3. Pretty scene this morning at Swallow Falls State Park
  4. Can't wait to see the Norrisville slantsticker's total of 5.5" or w/e
  5. Not doing your mental gymnastics. I'm not ruling out a little snow for ALB. You said mid level banding implying it would be more substantial.
  6. Good to know I don’t slant stick my measurements
  7. 1.5" from the first round in Westfield this morning. Snow has just started back up, hopefully the dry slot is moving out
  8. Yeah, I remember crunching the #’s late February 2014. In terms of wasted cold, 2013-14 stands alone at the #1 spot since records started. Middle TN has seen redemption in the years since. But even that year…I got to experience 2’ over 4 chases.
  9. Congrats! Just a small appetizer to gird your loins before we get cooked Jan 22 - February 10
  10. At the southern end of the county snow is picking up but no accumulation as of yet.
  11. Not nearly the same setup but reminded me of this one below. 2/8/97. I was watching Mark Messier blow the Islanders up in an afternoon game. Was like 32-34 all day. NYC got around 3 inches in the end but it was basically a clipped coastal type setup. Nowhere near the same type of storm as this though. https://www.meteo.psu.edu/ewall/NARR/1997/us0209.php
  12. If that s/w just off of Cali don't get crushed by the UL of death, or if it doesn't decide to cut off and hang back there, this could be interesting
  13. Rippin’ here again. My hope for today was snow showers or a period of light snow. Set the bar at @ 1”. But damn, this turned into a legit storm.
  14. Wow those were the fattest flakes I've seen in awhile! And...the first time I've gotten under a yellow band in who knows how long Nice surprise!
  15. Filtered sun and 34 here currently… Interesting…
  16. according to that radar New York city is about to get heavy snow!
  17. That sums up Westchester at 11am with 300 feet of elevation and an icy type of snow moderately falling.
