99/75 heat index of 114. No thank you. All the blinds are closed up.

YYZ is up to 36C/98F with a humidex of 48. There is a fast MCS outflow heading towards me, some new gen from that is among the most rapid I've seen. Hourlies of course didn't show much chance earlier for any.

SPC mentions both Friday and Saturday have very similar severe setups. A slight risk was added to the northern areas in the new Day 3 outlook with higher potential mentioned as well.

Some electricians will not touch that job.. ....some home buyers do request solar panels be removed as part of the purchase offer.

I've done repairs mostly under warranty (see the banter thread for details) and I know the panels will need to be removed and replaced when I need to re-roof in 15 years, but other than that, why else I would remove the panels ? I repair my house or car when it needs it, solar power generation is no different. there's no so such thing as a free lunch, but with a little effort and ingenuity you can make lunch cheaper

That's the befuddling part lol...the heat mongers and high dews fans are all posting from the comfy confines of their air conditioned homes....makes zero sense to like heat and high dews and be inside..

I know many people that had the same issues. Many of the installers arent qualified to be serving up Happy Meals at McDonald's much less installing a solar panel system...

At 3:30pm here in Carlisle...the temperature is 99.1 degrees. This is the high for the day thus far, and also the high for the year-to-date. The dew point is 77.6 degrees. Combined this produces a heat index of 117.7 degrees F. Skies continue to be mostly sunny. I am revising my opinion from 3 hours ago concerning the probability of hitting 100 degrees. I would now say that there is a 90% chance I will hit 100 degrees and maybe go on to hit 101, which is the NWS forecast for me for today. Tomorrow marks the 6th anniversary of the closing on my home. I don't know where the years are all going. We're precisely halfway through this year! I'll be back with another update when I have officially reached 100 degrees. By the way, my high temp for last year was precisely 100.0 degrees, but with lower dew points. >>>Edit...I'm a day early with my NWS 101 forecast. As of this morning the high for today was forecast to be 98 degrees. Then 101 tomorrow and 102 degrees Friday, July 3rd.

Air temp in Poolesville hit 97°, new record high temperature for the site.

Dang, I thought it wasn’t supposed to hit 100 until tomorrow. Gonna get spicy in Vegas by the weekend…already getting chippy, but it’s desert dry…probably because it’s the Mojave.

Even then there can be issues with repairs and/or having the panels removed.

Currently 94/73. That's the high for the day. Feels pretty sultry and miserable out there if you move a little with the high DP. Standing in the shade and not doing anything feels ok for awhile.
