  1. Past hour
  2. It’s getting to the point where I start considering it. If other models trend south/colder tonight it’s onto something.
  3. Guess I’m staying up until 1 or 2 since it will flip by 4am here. Nothing falling on the drive home.
  4. HRRR is over a foot of snow for NYC Mix line stalls under Brooklyn
  5. Ain’t goin outside how I feel but sounds like pingers and ice here .
  6. Yeah moderate freezing rain currently with the temp falling to 25 degrees. This is very impressive.
  7. Here's the site to explore! https://mesonet.umd.edu/index.html
  8. Sleet line hugging the south shore but very very slow to advance
  9. Snow looks to be close. Guessing in 9pm hour will start
  10. DAB- so far. Better than I thought considering I expected snow to start around midnight.
  11. Temperature has been in free fall southwest of Boone. Been stalled at 17.1/15.4 for about 20 min. Steady sleet/zr everything is slick as owl snot out there. Sent from my Pixel 10 Pro using Tapatalk
  12. Agreed but it’s also not alone. Minus the nam all the other short range mesos do this
  13. I think the lower elevations down here are going to be fine. There really isn't as much accretion as I expected at 29 degrees. The mountains may be in worse shape though.
  14. With the extremely cold and dry air would expect the snow to start out fine and grainy early on. Once the lift and saturation gets underway look for nice dendrites that accumulate efficiently.
  15. At 21z tomorrow it has sleet south of NYC still and keeps trying to wash it out as it advances. If that happens most of us will be very very happy. I’m still wary of it being too cold in these setups though.
  16. HRRR is like watching a heavy weight fight between dense cold air and strong WAA lol .
