Pretty good stretch for the Front Range overall. That small area of below normal precip is likely just missing data.

Hey Joe - I am using Claude which does not run locally so no air-gapped environment. Regarding snow I just started the model up 3 days ago so we will see when we get to winter. -

82/57 today. Really pleasant day

It's so nice to cool down, with lower dew points. a high of 77, and a low of 53 for Toledo, makes for an avergae of 8 degrees F below normal for the day It's starting to feel exactly like those perfect September days, that is, the days with much lower amounts of air conditioning needed.

Ugh, there goes our last chance to see a lunar eclipse here until 2029...

Thanks for correcting me on how my well is performing. A large load of laundry struggled today to fill for the rinse cycle. Then it takes 30 mins to get normal water pressure back. -

2026 Spring/Summer Mountain Thread
Maggie Valley Steve replied to Buckethead's topic in Southeastern States
The models are suggesting that moisture returns mid week and could continue into the weekend. It appears a frontal boundary stalls nearby and further enhance the potential for heavy rainfall amounts. Temps look to be near normal to end out August for the Mountains. Daylight continues to dwindle as Fall is quickly approaching.
