    Well that escalated quickly. Just got put under a Tornado Warning over here in DE.

    At 0.50" so far, the severe part didn’t really materialize here, but I'm looking for rain anyway. Nice steady rain now, with a bit of lightning and thunder. Cooler too!

    The storm near Gastonia apparently decided to alter its course and build almost due east towards CLT. temp down to 81. No precip and building thunder.

    Radar estimates have hit 6-7" in extreme north Bucks and Lower Lehigh Training for hours there most of that missed me

    for tonight - tomorrow severe threat returns especially if the sun comes out and increases instability in the atmosphere once again - some folks east of the Hudson think they are out of the woods regarding heavy rain and storms - well they are not IMO

    The hook shape near Burlington plus the difference in velocities by Burlington. The velocities are inbound/outbound from the radar. (It can't see cross-wise wind). In this case, a somewhat small difference of like 30mph may be an indicator of a tornado, which of course has much stronger winds.

    If I remember correctly, this month was supposed to be record heat. Record rain fall is something no one that grows any kind of garden hopes for! Much easier to pump water on crops than try to dry them out! Much less diseases and fungus too deal with too.

    I made that post earlier from the 2nd batch of rain this afternoon that went around us. There was a 3rd batch a while ago that dropped .5" finally. Better than nothing.
