  3. Woke up around 230 this morning and looked at RAOBS and the sytem closed back up somewhere around the Cumberland so we at least had some light rain, the dry air still tho was brutal last evening,oh well, have to cut my grass now next week..lol
  4. You may need some performance enhancing drugs.
  5. The plants must he really drawing up the rain. Several mesonet sites have yet to see their soil moisture numbers move at all despite over two inches of rain.
  6. 2.75". Should be able to pass 3" no problem.
  7. And you probably wouldn't be posting because the server would have crashed by now... Up to 1.18" now.
  8. If this was winter, and temperatures were cold enough for snow. I would be snowed in
  9. Cold Front has pushed in bringing dryer air with it. The wind was never an issue here in the Valley and I measured just under 2 inches of rain. That said like Buckethead I have 4 to 5 inches of leaves down from mostly the Poplar trees.
  10. Inner tube of the gauge is full and estimating about 1.25”
  11. 2.16” here. Was out and there is a lot of ponding on the roads.
  12. old white empty-nester alternative to watching paint dry
  13. I was just out in it. Feel like and old, wet rag. Meanwhile, it continues to pour.
  14. 1.93" thus far just over the M/D line south of Hanover, PA.
  15. Keedysville site almost 2.5" lines up well with other reports.
  16. An inch in the gauge just since I emptied it at 7am. Top layer of the ground is certainly saturated.
  17. Today
  18. According to some neighbors' weather stations, we're somewhere between 2"-2.5" in Germantown
  19. Weird, our trees are just starting to change around here but just barely. Seeing these pics from far nne really puts into perspective just how much climate and ecology can vary from one area to the next. I’m sure things will rapidly change down here over the next few weeks as they usually do but as we always say, season within seasons!
