  1. Past hour
  2. It's sounds like traffic is moving fine on 84 ( I can hear it from my house) and on Google Maps most major roads are still green around here. That said, a winter wonderland in my yard, snow sticking to everything with .8 on the board so far in light snow 34/30.
  3. Kinda rippin now. Too bad temps are marginal.
  4. 39 here now with lt rain. It was snowing on Stone Mountain at 2500ft and up. As well as Wallen Ridge just south of Pennington gap at around 2800ft awhile ago when the band of Precip was heaviest.
  5. Mix of snow/sleet mostly sleet it seems in the city now.
  6. Well if we're getting ready to go below 0 true air temp I hope there's at least 3in down to justify it. Nothing worse than unjustified bitter cold tundra. We'll see where the CAM town racers are tonight lol
  7. I have zero scientific reason for this statement, but this is going improve as we get closer and will over perform at game time. 2014-2015 style!
  8. So the winds have gone completely calm, there is no snow on the ground (or falling from the sky) and temperatures are above freezing with no visibility restrictions. This isn't the kind of blizzard I had in mind.
  9. I was just a little 'ol fart in '69, but I DO remember it snowed. Looking at CO-OP's in the area 6-10 was common.
  10. Thst makes sense ya I must have seen 12z and was like this shows nothing haha
  11. He’s trying to steal all of that for yall up north. H5 looked good in that there was a little more ridging east off the coast vs 12z gfs.
  12. As expected was gross here. Started with 2" of snow then turned to rain for several hours. With dews above freezing for nearly 12 hours, we lost more snow than we gained. Freezing up now.
  13. Coating of snow on all surfaces in the Linglestown area, with large dendrites continuing.
  14. Im getting tired of the mountains always breaking up snow storms but rain storms cross them fine
  15. 500 mb chart. Shows the expected location of the jet streams and disturbances within.
  16. The ratio of whatever fell IMBY is like 4:1. It’s 2.5” but it weighs the same as a dry 8”. Some plain old rain mixed in too.
  17. It's snowing in Harrisburg as I get ready to walk to the train, wasn't expecting that this late in the day. Nice!
  18. Light to moderate snow falling. It’s a pretty scene here currently. Sticking to all surfaces. Globals and the NAM FTW on this one.
  19. go to 18z nam for the composite. Right at 84 you see the explosion of snow in the east. that link defaults to 12z
