There is definitely some snow mixing with the sleet coming from higher up. I can see that even down here in Haymarket. I hear the pingers but there is also some real small flakes falling as well. At least that is what it looks like.

Just measured 4 inches in Astoria Queens, a few blocks off the East River.

looks to me that the Milwaukee Lake effect band is now reached Waukegan and will merge with the Lake enhancement of southern Lake and Cook County.

Looks like around 3”-4” already here.

Often times we’d flip back to snow as the upper level low approaches, but this one looks like it’ll just end as sleet/fzra. Hopefully next storm we can get that primary/upper level low moving under our latitude.

Yeah - we are getting rocked in Riverdale. Ratios are incredible. I would imagine 1 -2"/hour rates for the next 4-5 hours. 12-14" wouldn't surprise me in the least.
