Ginxy, met Pro Lurker (Mike) today at the B'east. I told him to try to make the next GTG. Nice guy. We laughed about being annoyed by the same few posters (to remain nameless of course). But we both agreed that the American Weather forum rocks. He'd really like to have a ski GTG there, we should try to make it happen. As you can imagine, conditions have improved dramatically.

Well, it looks like a winter wonderland here. Mtns of heavy wet snow making it look like we got 2'. Some wires and trees down, even around here.

Some interesting obs on the way down. Snow wasn't sticking to the trees until I got to near and just past the Dascomb Rd Tewksbury exit. Snow became noticeably wet in appearance near 128.

Everything is def compacted here, so I know if I did the 6hr rule, I'd have more, but I'm going with 12.8" Prob would have been 14 or 15".

BTW who reported 24" in Wilmington and 23" in N Andover and Winchester?? Don't think so.

I'm on Milton Hill, it hasn't been snowing hard here since noon. Weird snow hole going on!

It must make you appreciate how special last winter was. And by special I mean it will never happen again.

yeah it was, though im not really convinced it's a 1 in 100 yrs thing. seems there is a tendancy for more big storms lately so i'll hold out hope. regardless, this thing looks to have dropped 20+ in more of CT than I remember when I was there.
