Check out what Justin Burk from abc2 news just posted on FB regarding this.

"Surface map shows Ohio storm winning the race to develop faster. It is stronger now and models didn't expect that. There is still an EAST WIND at BWI (good for moisture, bad for sleet) and transition zone likely to fill in in the next 2-4 hours. This is just the beginning. The steady and heavier stuff has been slated to reach us within a few hours of midnight. If OH Lo wins... less snow for New England, but could pull the coastal moisture into and through us."

Guys....the radar is going to fill in.

Why are we all chasing echoes like crazed weenies when we KNEW all along that anything we DO get was going to basically blossom right on top of us?

The storm is still down at HSE getting its act together...as it comes north and the OV energy keeps coming east, the space in-between (us) is gonna fill in with precip for a couple inches worth. At least that's the forecast - and always HAS been the forecast...it might bust of course, but there is no real reason to think so YET.

It is filling in- just north of the PA line. And look at radar from the coastal- expanding as you get to jersey. The phase is happening. We're 75 miles away from where it's at. Sure. Maybe a little blob from KY or WVA swipes us, but other than that, it's done.
