Yeah pipelines here too...in fact not enough of them to keep supply and prices lower.

I can't complain too much about price.   Comparing my bill to friends who have oil I'm usually at 50% of their bill and we keep the house fairly warm

There was a proposal a few years back to build a larger pipeline from PA into New England that was working it's way through regulatory approvals until it was discovered that the proposed larger pipeline would be used in part to export gas from the Everett terminal, instead of import.

Do you happen to know if the pipelines shown on that map are preexisting or were they part of the proposal you mentioned?

I know the Algonquin has been there for many years and is still used today . I used to ride dirt bikes along it back in the day.

I think the map shows preexisting.  The new line was going to connect the Algonquin and the Tennessee pipelines in PA and NY, follow the right of way of the Tennessee into western Mass, then run a new line across northern Mass into NH.

Natural gas prices are state regulated by PURA. They have to submit rate increases and get them approved similar to electricity. I believe its every 6 months like electricity so the price is extremely stable for 6 months.

I might be misreading it, but that shows a 6-week anomaly total for most of New England in the -0.5 to -1.0 inch range.  Certainly not anything overly concerning?  Instead of ~4 inches of rain over the next 6 weeks, most get 3.0 to 3.5 inches?  Assuming that product is close to accurate, which is always iffy.

I’m down probably 1.5” on that graphic and couldn’t care less, ha.  Nice, dry weather is perfect for enjoying the outdoors during the autumn.  Even if it didn’t rain at all in the next 6 weeks, life would go on just fine.

Well just showing we are heading into a very dry Stein pattern. NW flow in late summer / early fall is typically dry, Steiny, and fronts come thru with almost no moisture. Tonight’s is a great example
