Storm hit hard here in NWI. This tree fell in my backyard in EC. Miracle though. Didn't take out the power line. The line runs through the silver pole. Lots of reports of catastrophic damage in Highland, Griffith and Gary.

That far northwest corner of Indiana has been getting absolutely smoked lately.  Hoosier oughta be loving that if he still lives there.

Interesting. I would think a SVR Warning with 100 mph winds would be the message across, but maybe social science says otherwise.

Nothing noticeable to me but I've never been able to see anything when this happens despite the occasional headline and notorious past events

DVN just gusted to 59mph.  Should be another very nice soaker en route.

Everything is missing me this month.  A line of big storms blew up just west of Cedar Rapids this morning and it certainly looked like we would be hit, but the first cell sagged south and then the rest of them followed.  A band of 2-3" fell barely south of CR and I only got 0.11".

on the plus side, you'll get more chances, we haven't locked a rof pattern in like this in a long time
