Smoke is back but cleared a few hours mid afternoon to help boost temps to where they were forecast. Tomorrow if the models are right will be a bust with skies as dark as midnight

I suspect it either fails in the senate or a bunch of states opt out of it which will lead to it never occurring.  I'd hate to live in a place like Grand Rapids/Indy/Amarillo with a 920 am sunrise

not super hot (mid 80’s here) but the humidity is the real deal. My evening walk was a bad idea, fat guy sweats a lot.

During my hs years there was a year where the clocks remained on Daylight Savings Time...it was awful. Kids falling asleep in class. Stayed mostly dark till late morning on stormy days.....kids waiting at the bus stops in complete darkness..at the far  western end of the eastern time zone it will be worse with sunrise not occurring till 9AM ish..
