Meteocentre has reanalyses going back to 1948, but only H5, mslp, and thicknesses. They have the sketchier 1851-1947 reconstruction too.

This persistent trough pattern may lead to a solid nor'easter eventually.  See that storm from May 3-4 that bombed S of Nova Scotia?  981 to 968 mb in just 3 hr!  Scott impressed?

At some point you'd think we may generate a nor'easter...we've come close but have fallen short.
