UnitedWx
Well, it's technically part of the system so here goes... just woke up to light snow and looking like about a half inch here in Westfield early morning. I saw it modeled, but didn't expect it to really reach the ground

40/70 Benchmark
What doesn't make sense to me is that guidance is moving the LBSW into LI and CT, but aren't maintaing the dynamics longer through my area and into the GOM....I think they are waning the dynamics too quickly after maturation.

Considering it will be consolidating into the same system, I see it as associated. Whatever, it's passed through now anyway, but wouldn't be surprised to see more on and off flurries today

But its part of the main overall system affecting us and i would count anything that fell overnight and this morning part of this storm. you can see the ULL parked over the great lakes just looking at the radar 3 minutes ago, UnitedWx said: It's energy ahead of the system. To me it just seems more legit to start counting then instead of these little disturbances/ flurries that pass now and again. That's all really IMHO. I wouldn't put this in my count. Just went out and it's a little less than half inch. Hey, it covers all the dirty snow i caused yesterday when snowblowing.
BrianW
Light snow here with a small band setup over New Haven the last hour or so. Can even see its slowing traffic down on 95 and the Meritt west of HVN.
