Yea, RAD looks fine....agree. Just wait and see at this point. Only thing is I do recall when the storm was modeled to be more LBSW, there was a minimum in CT before it bounced back in E MA...wonder with the tick east, if CT is getting the LBSW blob, and why E MA is now looking like more of a min. Perhaps just a casualty of the nuances of this thing's evolution.

Yup have fun ct

It is puking snow down here. NWS has 18-24 inches for the NYC area. Its been years since we had this much snow in a storm.

I should be over 40 inches by the time this storm is done. Hopefully you guys up there get hit hard.

It’s still going to be fun watching the storm evolve.  Definitely lessons to learn from a forecasting standpoint.  I’m still not sure whether to expect 6 or 18, obviously leaning less now.  It seems rare to have such changes so close to the event, though, which is interesting in its own right.

There is nothing fun about watching a HECS dump 6" of arctic sand on you....I'd rather watch livestream of my prostate being removed.

someone mentioned the Connecticut River Valley snow hole today and I was in Southwick about an hour ago where there was light snow and 1” of new snow and at the top of the hill in East Hartland it was heavy wind driven snow with over 3” of new snow

I'm hoping we can whittle this down to 6 inches in north central CT.

I remember a guy who isn't posting right now canceling winter numerous times since December. Congrats down there.

I mean, it sucks to rely on the nowcast, but I just don’t see this going completely pedestrian.  The radar looks pretty damn good.  I don’t know, maybe it’s peaking too early and will suck NoP but I’m still optimistic for a decent storm here even though I was never expecting too much.

I agree....but it's' tough for me not to be spooked by the models, and the fact that Delaware is getting creamed.

Should just take a nap.
