Highk a 2-4in non elevation dependent is the best to hike up in. Keeps the roads passable but at the top of the mountain you get 6+

I know it's very event-dependent - but hasn't the whole "it was too warm leading in" argument been pretty much squashed?

Not to nitpick, but as recently as 6z today (and for most of its recent prior runs) the Euro AI showed us hardly getting any precip from the storm.  That isn't exactly deadly.

Not when there’s basically no cold air incoming lol. But yes, it can snow when it’s warm the day before. I honestly am leaning towards this being more rain than snow. I’m not really buying this setup.

Since we have no source of cold air, this is one of those times where location/climo is really going to matter. My guess? NW areas are going to do a lot better than SE.
