I count 8 decent-good hits.

The number of good hits has been steadily shrinking, something to keep in mind for the  ever optimistic folks that are holding on to the euro.

Additionally, it’s pretty much all or nothing. Either it’s a good storm, or it whiffs

thats what it looked like based on solely the SLP placements too... Definitely more that go both left and far right, so something is causing divergence somewhere along the line

Yeah, so nowhere near 25, and the ones that do, for the most part, are scraping his area with .1

I wouldn’t exactly call that a robust signal, but what do I know

I think this is a miss except for the Cape….but he’s definitely not completely out, and you certainly aren’t either.  It’s a long shot no doubt, but you’re just constantly so f’n negative…it’s bizarre to be honest.    Bottom line is, it wouldn’t take much at all for you to get a good snow out of this. But like you said…what do you know?

A week and a half ago…you told everybody good luck with getting this storm that just gave you 20”, good luck getting it up here…so ya, you don’t know much, except for constant negativity.

I mean, at the time, it was a miss for all. This isn’t even in the same stratosphere though. I guess when you’re constantly calling for event to come back or to hit or whatever, you’re bound to run into a few

is it me, or are isopleth's overlapping here lol

This is the ugliest looking thing I think I have ever seen

*edit - Ok, I see it now, the 531 perfectly matches the NJ coastline and the "overlap" is just perfectly timed to when they pinch-off from one another

Guess we'll just call this the storm that could have been. I for sure thought this was going to come up the coast days ago but totally wrong on that. dendrites post this morning illustrated why it wasn't happening and those signals with trough, dPVA, and dynamics were there the whole time to tell the story.
