RAP zr map. But it doesn't have precip here in Wake until 8 hours from now and there is report of sleet in Cary now.

Not sure, but usually when there is an event like this or hurricanes, etc. you get a lot of help from linemen from out of state. 
In this case, a lot of them will be busy in their own areas I’d suspect.

I am back to being stressed about this storm. After looking at all of the moisture to our west and watching the temps dropping quickly, Chris Justus might just be right. It looks bad for the Upstate. Hope I am wrong.

Just another observation: lots of reports of precip with not much in the way of radar returns. Just a reminder that with a wedge airmass (especially a shallow one) we can get light precip thats not necessarily showing up on radar. In turn that means models dont resolve this well.

Yep upstate & north ga gonna get it bad I think as well.  Temps dropping dew points low & plume of moisture barreling in

Nope can’t find one anywhere bud it’s like a hidden treasure.  Seeing .65 of freezing rain one county north of Atl hopefully some of that is sleet

Based on everything I've seen... Current observations, models which have been handling this storm well, cold air digging in, I believe he is. 

As I've said... From a risk management perspective, this is a pull out all the stops situation. Even if it ultimately turns out to be wrong

Yeah, i was feeling good about things just after lunch.Now  i am eyeing that main line of precip that will come through after temps drop below freezing. I have wood in the house and covered wood outside. Its going to do what its going to do. Nothing more i can do.

RAH is only calling for a quarter to a half inch of freezing rain compared to the half inch plus WRAL is calling.
