jnis
I just returned home from a music gig in Gaithersburg (central MoCo) When I left it was 36 degrees with wet pavement. Pulled onto 270 and about a half mile north of 370 it began to rain/ snow mix and the temp was 34. At the Germantown/Damascus exit it was 33 with moderate snow and about an inch- roads were beginning to cave. By the time I got back to Damascus it was 30 degrees with moderate snow- the sides roads completely caved with about 1.5”. It’s been a while since I’ve experienced the rain snow line so clearly demarcated through MoCo

Hopefully more areas will get in on the action.

clskinsfan
Hrrr seems to be winning this one so far. Still a ways to go. But it was basically the only model that gave me this snowglobe at this point. Time for a jebwalk. Might be a while until I get another one.

I'd like to see what the high spots in Damascus are doing About 2” here with moderate snow
midatlanticweather
Big snowflakes and a good amount of snow is falling. Still 32.7 degrees, so the main places with snow are grassy areas and elevated. Everything is coated now, and I walked out to slushy roads and sidewalks due to the rates.
Wxtrix
coating on grass and cars and the neighbors left their Christmas lights on—so pretty. 3
clskinsfan
Walking through the hood. It is so amazing. Christmas lights and snow. Doesn't get any better. Although I am sure my neighbors are like wtf is this guy doing. 1

Stormchaserchuck1
I'm liking how the band is holding up near Harrisburg - It will probably end from the west, not the north. About 1" here, light to moderate snow. So pretty.
