Looks like it's in "View Only" mode.

Which boomer didn't close the sheet?

yeah, was going to ask the same thing. Can't edit my own tab for same reason.

I entered my totals this morning and looked the summary but I don't see where I left anything open or did anything to it.

I don't think so. Astronomyenjoyer was able to log today's event and has "view only" permissions as does everyone else. Not sure how he got his entered.

I do what I want...

Nah, @bristolri_wx DM'd me a link to a submission form that looks something like this. I simply filled it out and submitted it.

got the same and was able to enter my 1st event couple weeks ago, but doesn't work now. All set, got it to work. I forgot I needed to use the form every time.

Snowfall totals are submitted using the entry form.  No one has access to edit the spreadsheet directly.  Keeps the spreadsheet in pristine condition by making it read only (I have some experience with this).  If something needs to be fixed because it was entered incorrectly, you can PM me and I can adjust it, though it will be when I have free time to take care of it.

I went back through all my PM's and other than one new one from today, I have replied back with everyone's snowfall submission form links.

So I made some adjustments to the web site where it's easier to quickly view totals:

https://newenglandsnowfallrecords.blogspot.com/

I removed the individual reports and made the individual pages on the Google Sheet visible for viewing.  Also, I made changes to the custom Google Map so that the current total shows up as the label for each reporting location.

I know that there will be situations where we get a "trace" of snow in the future.  For record keeping purposes, if you want to enter trace amounts when they fall, enter them as 0.01.  Throwing text into the form and the spreadsheet will break the math formulas doing the totals.

No worries - just wanted to make sure it not working correctly wasn't the cause... :-)

And I just did some entries.  I made a double entry by accident on 11/28

And the 1st entry on 11/14 was supposed to be 11/10 (my first trace)

I can't delete or change once entered... I assume I would need to ask you to?

All set.  Yes I can quickly make fixes.  At least for this year only I can make changes once posted to make sure everything on the sheet stays formatted correctly.

Much appreciated.    I'm keeping track on a notes app on my phone, and making notations about things (like that the town plowed twice for those 0.5" "events" here...lol)
