Haven't seen any Perseid's this year but some absolutely fantastic storms came through last night beginning around 1AM. Very electrical w/ pouring rain, little to no wind. Yeah I have concerns about Elias still being here when the new manager is selected--and don't trust him in letting the manager hire his own staff. Everybody but maybe Britton and the other guy (I think his name is Mayer?) has got to go. He held off calling him up just for the remote possibility of him appearing on 2 out of the 3 top 100 prospect lists before next year's season and then he goes on to win the rookie of the year award for an extra draft pick at the end of round 1 in 2027. My theory is Elias just likes his young talent in general and would rather win a championship that way than quality FA signings. But it just doesn't work that way and that's the flaw in his philosophy. And IF he gets another chance (I'd rather they move on) he'd better change that or he out! You win championships doing it both ways that compliment each other. All teams that are continuously good do it this way. Except for the rays.
