Reminded me of Ida. 4”-6” of rain in 2-3 hours. I used to go to that area all the time, it's such a beautiful area (between Bayside and Great Neck). I wonder how Alley Pond Park is doing? Not sure how accurate it is I mean up in far northern NJ that 0.04” sounds about right. I’m just north of that and we hardly got anything meaningful. Picard
17 minutes ago, FPizz said: Saw this from a FB group for nj. Not sure how accurate it is It's likely correct. I'm in Sparta. There were two heavy cells that ran 15 miles to my north earlier, producing the nearly 2" total you see. Then other lines to the south were also heavy, with plenty of dead zones in between. I haven't even reached two tenths yet and may not.

NorthShoreWx
As of 12:30am here, 0.28" of rain since midnight with temp down to 64.6⁰. Still raining moderately for a little bit of redemption with the 24 hour total about 3/4" (much more 3 or 4 miles SE from here). Not done yet and the lawn isn't complaining.
