One day left in this billing cycle for electricity with CMP, After running these heat pumps 1, 24/7, 1, 90% of this cycle and the other 2 in bedrooms just at night, Took a meter reading, Used 1,036kw/hr this cycle so far compared to 1,715/kw/hr last year at this time running 1 wall, And 3 window ac units, That’s a pretty good savings.

Not sure what that is but I got bit on the ass over two weeks, I think by a tick and I have an infected ass, have to go see the doctor this week since it's not getting better and black and blue and just won't heal.

We used significantly less than last year here for window ACs in our last billing cycle.  This current one will probably be pretty bad though.

Last months was bit less then last year too, But i only had the heat pumps for 10 days on the last cycle.

I tested positive for Lyme recently.  Been on course of antibiotics for the past couple weeks prior to the test results, which take some time.

Symptoms started with a week long fever (peaked at 102F), headaches and joint pain.  Rash was present. Extreme fatigue at times.  Blood work showed everything was fine except my liver enzymes were through the roof, fighting some infection.

It all started 3 days after I walked through the high brush to bring the dog to that snow patch back on the solstice, ha.

Luckily think it was treated early so should be good.

The Lonestar ticks are pretty discernible from deer ticks and dog ticks.

Obviously, it becomes a more tenuous situation if a nymph bites you because you might never see or feel it.

They all seem to start on the cape. I was the first one in Eastern Massachusetts with anoplasmosis. CDC was calling me practically daily. Is there still a CDC or Is that gone too?

What did that feel like or how did you know?

I got a full tick panel done but was negative anoplasmosis… positive Lyme.

The Cape is loaded, they put out feeding stations where the deer would brush up against some brushes that had permethrin on them.

Glad you're on the mend. I've had lyme disease a couple times. Doxicillin does its work pretty quickly. 

True story.

Last time I got bit the bullseye  was wayyyy up my inner thigh. Textbook bullseye. Went into a large health stop and asked the doctor to write me a script for doxicillin . Doctor took one look and wrote me the script. As I was putting my pants back on she knocked on the door and asked If I could keep my pants down so she could show the rest of the office.  After many "Good God!" "Would you look at the size of it!" I pulled my pants back up.

If I wasn't used to it I probably would have been embarrassed

Only time in my life I've been delirious. Although I'm sure there are a couple of folks on here who would beg to differ. Temperature of 106. My blood counts were off the charts not in a good way.

It can kill you. The CDC told me about a woman in Maine who contracted it and didn't take the antibiotics. No longer with us.

Most likely. There are a couple high fields near the woodyard before I get into the woods.
