Smoke very apparent in central Suffolk. Might be the smokiest it’s been since the Canadian wildfire smoke 2 years ago, nowhere near as bad as that right now though.

Was thinking the same thing up here, not as bad but I think that was the last time I could see the smoke across the yard at ground level.

It’s the first time this summer that the GFS is running warmer than the Euro. The GFS has 100° heat from Monday to Wednesday. But the Euro only gets to 100° on Wednesday.

I thought Tuesday was supposed to be the hottest day?

Either way we could make history twice this summer, our first 100 degree day in June AND our first 100 degree day in the July 24-30 period!!

First Yankees game in 6 years for me. Good Lord, this team is garbage. And the stadium is 50/50 Yankees/Phillies fans. What has happened to this once-legendary team? Oh, wait, Hal isn’t George. How is Boone still managing this team?

It is hot in the sun, though. Thankfully, the humidity isn’t too crazy. There was a lot of smoke up in Patterson this morning.

lol you're basically saying everything we've been saying in the Yankees thread and Cashman must be blackmailing Hal I can't see how else he is still running the team.

Stronger ridge now so the heatwave has been extended to Wednesday.

I'm thinking mid 90s on Monday and upper 90s to near 100 Tueday and Wednesday. Quite a heat wave, but that will be it for the heat for awhile. Next Friday and Saturday look beautiful with low 80s and low humidity.

Yes this could be our last big heat for the season so it would be nice to go out with a bang lol.
