12z Euro is 75/48 on July 4th.. looks perfect!

Seriously what's wrong with that? It's not like it's going to be 48° at noon. Hot 4th of July's suck unless you're at the beach. Lots activities are in fields and city centers .You don't want to be roasting.

A perfect 4th is probably mostly sunny skies, 85/64 or thereabouts.

Some years ago I was on a hill watching fireworks and there was a thunderstorm way off in the distance. Perfect evening, fireworks booming with actual long distance lightning strikes illuminating the storm. That was about as good as it gets.

Yeah, 80 on the 4th is terrible.

75/40s requires a different adjective than 'perfect'. better than rain, sure but for outdoor bbqs and beach activities, gotta be in the 80 and some humidity  to feel like July 4th. Maybe those in their 80s agree with ineedcold

I definitely expected it to be better by now. Me ftl. Despite warm front passing still meh

honestly, not sure the warm front has passed - here anyway.   I was just looking at this... granted it may be getting diffused with time but these obs ( temps and wind) suggest it's more like this

74.1/70. Turned out just about exactly as I expected . 70’s and humid. Knew Euro was too warm and US garbage way too cold . Some sun some clouds, very dewy. Great summer afternoon

interesting
