H2Otown_WX
This weather sucks, it always looks and feels like it's gonna rain but then it doesn't or barely does. Can't we just get it over with and bring in some drier air?

Picked up the tick while hunting on Veterans' Day (clever little monster hid in the short hairs) and 10 days later I was totally miserable - wife thought it was a stroke. Diagnosis on 11/22, doxy Rx 23rd, felt much better 24th but finished the 10-day regimen. You are lucky it wasn't worse. When I had it they told me about a woman in rural Maine who contracted it. They gave her antibiotics and she didn't take them. Killed her.

They gave her antibiotics and she didn't take them. Killed her. A long-time (30+ years) co-worker - staff biologist - got Lyme twice. First time he thought it was his worst flu ever but waited a couple days for a long-scheduled wellness appt. Nice bullseye rash on scapula made for quick diagnosis. He had a 3rd doxy Rx immediately upon finding an engorged tick - didn't wait for symptoms. After witnessing all that, following the medical advice was an easy decision.

Clearly the coldest spring on record in Nashua! Oh wait, if the month ended today, it would be 11th warmest [of 157 years] in nearby Concord. And 5th warmest out of a shortened 67-year hit-or-miss POR at Manchester. 1998's average is missing the entire month of March and tossed. 1

Snow crying for its mama. The bugs are just starting to get going as green up is through 2,000ft now. Another 3-5 days and it’ll probably be time to get carried away by black flies. Today I did think of Scooter and the clouds jokes in NNE… hit about 12pm and clouded up with the humidity and terrain. Then brief downpours. 1 1
